Description
PRODUCER NOTE:
You can be sure these wines will not let you down. Made at Yenda, in the heart of Australia’s Riverland, at a state-of-the-art winery, using grapes from trusted and skilful growers.
VINTAGE:
In the vineyard a warm dry summer provided a clean and disease free vintage with great ripening conditions across all regions. Despite some hot days, extended heatwaves did not play a role during the growing season; there was little berry shrivel occurrence in white varieties. The fruit at harvest delivered excellent fruit concentration and varietal typicity.
VINEYARD:
The vine age is varied, but all vines have been spur pruned and are generally trained on a single wire cordon trellising system. The vines are planted at approximately 1.8 metres apart with 3.6 metres between the rows, to allow machinery access. The soil styles in the vineyards are varied, ranging from clay, to limestone and sandy soils, with each terroir adding its own characteristic to the resulting wine.
WINEMAKING:
The grapes were cold fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats to retain the fruity aromatics. A portion was fermented on oak lees to add complexity and texture.
TASTING NOTE:
A delicate blend of herbaceous Semillon and exotic tropical Chardonnay fruit characters, with subtle oak complexity balanced by a crisp, fresh finish.

Semillon 65%, Chardonnay 35%
