Lebanon is one of the world’s oldest wine producing regions.
The famous Bekaa Valley has an average altitude of 1,000 metres above sea level allowing the valley’s climate to be suitable for viticulture. Heavy winter rains and long, dry summers help the grapes grow and ripen perfectly.
Château Oumsiyat’s range of 11 wines has been blended exclusively for the UK market. The selection of five red, five white and one rosé wine includes Lebanon’s only Assyrtiko, sourced from a nursery in Northern Italy and planted in one small plot in Lebanon’s Bekaa Valley.
