Spain

The diverse landscapes of the Spanish wine scene ticks all the boxes and can provide everything you will ever need fro full-bodied food friendly reds, to elegant crisp whites. Spanish winemakers are discovering new styles that are starting to turn heads.

Spain was able to get a head start on the majority of the wine producing world, having a vast amount of indigenous grape varieties already growing in the country and a history of wine production dating back as early as 1100BC. However, it wasn’t until the 1950s that the wine became close to what we know and drink today, with the resurgence of Sherry and Rioja.

Whether you are after a citrusy, fresh, crisp wine such as Txakoli (pronounced chak-OH-lee) from the Northern region of Hondarribia or a rich, meaty Rioja, we are proud to have a selection of the very best Spain can offer.

We have once again expanded our Spanish range, this time with a pair of wines from family-run producer, Pazo do Mar, in Galicia. As well as introducing another family-run producer in the form of Ronsel do Sel. Situated in Ribeira Sacra. near Parada de Sil in the North West of Spain. Ronsel do Sel pride themselves on creating mineral-driven wines from local varietals.
