Description
PRODUCER NOTE:
Pushing back the boundaries – that’s exactly what we’re doing with these voluptuous fruit-packed wines. For those wine lovers who prefer the frankness of a single varietal to the erudition of a blend. The winemaker has taken parcels of fruit from across South Australia’s sun-drenched vineyards, and crafted wines of maximum freshness. They are the ultimate expression of varietal, and the perfect entry into Aussie wines.
VINTAGE:
In the vineyard a warm, dry summer provided a clean and disease free vintage with great ripening conditions across the region. No significant rain fell during the ripening period and extended heat waves throughout the growing season resulted in an abundance of ripe fruit characters in the 2019 whites.
VINEYARD:
The grapes are sourced from vineyards throughout the Riverina region on vines have been spur pruned. The vine age is varied. Vines are planted roughly 1.8m apart with 3.6m between the rows to allow machinery access.
WINEMAKING:
The grapes were cold fermented in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures to retain the fruity aromatics. Delicate use of oak adds subtle complexity and a gently creamy texture to the resulting wine.
TASTING NOTE:
Concentrated fruity aromas of citrus and melon lead to a soft, delicate and creamy palate with gentle hints of oak.
