ABOUT THE PRODUCER:
Zinfandel Blush is the Las Vegas of the wine world. An unapologetic show-stopper which offers an unpretentious response to our need for simplicity and diversion, it has certainly justified its place in the wine world’s big tent in recent years. Due to massive demand, we could not secure enough grapes in California, so we sourced from the natural home of the Zinfandel, Italy’s Puglia area, where the grape is known as Primitivo. Your Friday night is sorted!
ABOUT THE VINEYARD:
Zinfandel is identical to Italy’s Primitivo grape variety, a dark skinned, early ripening variety which flourishes in California. The vines are trained on a cordon system, with canopy management ensuring the vines receive sufficient aeration to keep the vine healthy and the grapes receive enough sunlight to reach optimum maturity prior to harvesting. The soils in the vineyard are clay and limestone, which have a cooling effect on the vines and produce elegant wines. The warming Californian sunshine ensures the grapes reach excellent maturity, producing juice that is bursting with varietal fruit flavours.
WINEMAKING:
The grapes were destemmed, followed by the fermentation, which took place in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks at a low temperature. It was then macerated on the skins for 18 hours, imparting the rich fruity flavours to the wine.
TASTING NOTE:
A smooth, medium-style rosé with classic red berry and pink grapefruit aromas enhanced by hints of black pepper and wild herbs. The delicate berry flavours have a refreshing citrus edge and light peppery spice.

Zinfandel 100%.
