Matias Riccitelli is the son of renowned winemaker Jorge Riccitelli. Having worked at some of the most prestigious wineries in Argentina and several vintages around the world, Matias used his experience, knowledge and passion and set up his own winery in 2009. His vineyards cover 50 hectares, located in three selected sites within the premium growing region of Lujan de Cuyo, Mendoza. WINEMAKING:
The grapes were carefully sorted upon arrival at the winery. Fermentation took place in concrete eggs with wild yeasts at low temperatures to retain the freshness and aromatics of the cool-climate fruit. The wine was aged for eight months in concrete eggs.
TASTING NOTE:
Complex aromas of green apple, hay and herbaceous notes are underpinned by remarkable minerality. Textured and full-flavoured with a wonderful fluency and a rich energy on the finish.
GRAPES:
Sauvignon Blanc 40%, Sémillon 40%, Chardonnay 20%.
