ABOUT THE PRODUCER:
Cantina Sacchetto is located in the heart of the Veneto region. Founded in 1920, today it is run by Filiberto Sacchetto, alongside his son Paolo and daughter Beatrice. Together they oversee all aspects of the winemaking process, with attention, passion and great flexibility, combining tradition with innovation. In 2022 Sacchetto was awarded the Equalitas Certification which officially recognises social, environmental and economic pillars of sustainability, through biodiversity, carbon and water footprint and ecological cultivation practices. Through innovation and investment in modern vinification techniques, the family produces stunning still and sparkling wines for which the Veneto region has become famous.
THE WINEMAKING PROCESS:
The grapes were softly pressed in a horizontal press, followed by a slow fermentation in stainless steel temperature controlled tanks with selected yeasts.
OUR TASTING NOTES:
Pale pink with copper reflections. Typical strong fruity scent, nuances of white flowers such as acacia and wisteria are detectable. Full-bodied, smooth and balanced, dry and velvety.
GRAPE VARIETY:
Pinot Grigio 100%.
