PRODUCER:
VINEYARD:
French Bloom’s roots lie in the historic French terroir of Limoux, in southern France, in the eastern foothills of the Pyrénées. Limoux is celebrated as the birthplace of sparkling wine, dating back to 1544, over a century before Champagne. This oceanic terroir is influenced by the Atlantic Ocean, with regular rainfall, high humidity and moderate temperatures. Temperatures are often 2 to 3°C cooler than in Mediterranean terroirs, a key factor in preserving the acidity and balance of the grapes. The soil is rich in clay and limestone, which enhances the cuvée’s refreshing and complex character. The cuvée is crafted from the traditional sparkling grape varieties of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, from organically certified vines which are cultivated without the use of synthetic products. The Chardonnay, a vigorous and early ripening variety, imparts great freshness, while the Pinot Noir contributes body, structure and power.
WINEMAKING:
This French sparkling is the result of a precise blend of de-alcoholised organic Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, and natural ingredients such as lemon, combining French sparkling wine savoir-faire and cutting-edge innovation. Traditional fermentation took place in oak barrels to impart the depth and complexity of flavour. To respect the integrity of the flavours and offer the healthiest sparkling possible, the wine underwent a manual de-alcoholisation process, which resulted in 0.0% alcohol content. The addition of the finest bubbles occurred gently at the end. Free from colourants, preservatives, sulphites and added sugar.
TASTING NOTE:
With a well-balanced complexity, the Rosé oscillates between minerality and freshness to reveal at its heart a true floral bouquet with vibrant notes. A majestic burst of rose petals meets the acidity of freshly picked red fruit, combined with notes of dry white peach.
GRAPES:
Chardonnay 90%, Pinot Noir 10%.
