ABOUT THE PRODUCER:
Zin Heaven with its dramatic, theatrical and show-stopping presentation, offers a bright and vibrant rosé made from Italian Primitivo grapes, the natural home of Zinfandel. Evocative of a glamorous era, this Zinfandel Blush is every bit as fruity as its label.
ABOUT THE VINEYARD:
Zinfandel is identical to Italy’s Primitivo grape variety, a dark skinned, early ripening variety which flourishes in California. The grapes were grown in selected vineyards in California. The vineyards were carefully cultivated throughout the year, to ensure the berries reached optimum maturity. Canopy management ensures the vines receive sufficient aeration to keep the vine healthy. The warming Californian sunshine ensures the grapes reach excellent maturity, producing juice that is bursting with varietal fruit flavours.
THE WINEMAKING PROCESS:
Made from 100% Zinfandel. The grapes were harvested when they had reached maturity. Fermentation took place in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks with selected yeasts to showcase the fruity aromas of the Zinfandel variety and retain the pure fruit flavours.
TASTING NOTE:
Classic red berry and pink grapefruit aromas complemented by hints of black pepper and wild herbs. Smooth, with delicate berry and vanilla flavours through to a refreshing citrus finish.
